The Kenner Jumbo Luke X-Wing Pilot is now in-stock and only $49 for club members between now and 6pm Pacific time on Thursday, January 17. This newest release in Gentle Giant (website, Twitter) action figure series is just one more example of the awesomeness that the company is creating for classic Star Wars fans.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Star Wars Jumbo Vintage action figures (Amazon.com search*) then I can point out two of them that I have reviewed — Blue Snaggletooth reviewed here, C-3PO reviewed here — and say that as nostalgia-inspired art objects these are very successful toys.

are these guys big ‘rotocast’s? i.e. vinyl toys? or are they plastic.
@Ralph – Rotocast for the most part, yes. My C-3PO’s foot was loose in the box and appears to be solid. I think these toys are made using a mix of processes.
The info says 1000pc run. Would people be mad if more got produced?
