Kenner’s 1981 Star Wars Sales Video
This is exactly the sort of thing I like to find online. From 1981 comes this short (three minute) sales video in which Kenner tells us all why we need to get Star Wars action figures and vehicles into our stores. I love these old videos and now am sitting here wondering: “Does anyone create sales-targeted videos like this these days?” With the internet it feels like this sort of thing simply no longer happens.
That’s too bad. But we can all enjoy this, especially the “seven chapters to come” bit in the video. I guess the word “eventually” needed to be added in there somewhere.
