SSI 1988 AD&D Computer Games
Okay, show of hands. Who else wasted too many hours in the late eighties playing the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Pool of Radiance computer game? I know I blew hour after hour playing on the C64, and I’m willing to bet I’m not at all alone in being able to make that statement. Anyway, enjoy this old ad from a 1988 issue of Dragon Magazine (Amazon.com search*) and then remember how computer roleplaying games once were. Today’s CRPGs are nothing like those of the eighties.
