Hasbro Action Figure Ad from Star Wars Inside Issue 51

From the summer of 2000 comes this Hasbro advertisement for Star Wars action figures. I’ve no idea how many issues of the Star Wars Insider magazine (Amazon.com search*) are out in the wild, or how many different ads and articles have been published over the years, but it’s fun seeing these old ads and remembering just how different things were at the time.

Occasionally I will leaf through old issues of Toy Fare and it’s so bizarre how different things were 10-15 years ago.

  @Prfkt Tear – The market for action figures was certainly bigger then. And prices of toys — and toy manufacturing — were much lower. Makes me want to see if I still have Toy Fare issues around here somewhere.
