BattleTech: The Succession Wars and Klingons

This June 1987 advertisement from Dragon magazine features an expansion to their Star Trek roleplaying game and the big The Succession Wars boardgame. I’m unfamiliar with that Star Trek book, but I can say for a fact that I always wanted to try The Succession Wars boardgame because a big, galactic wargame strikes me as a blast. Anyone out there ever play this and, if so, is it the sort of thing that should be brought back for today’s market?
