Kenner’s Stretch Monster on Sale in 1977

This 1977 Sears newspaper advertisement should make all of the Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster fans in the audience happy. Who here wants a Stretch Monster toy factory fresh for only $10.97? And this would have been well before the rubber decomposed and the interior goo leaked out? Man, this was such an awesome toy concept that turned out to have a limited life expectancy. Poor Stretch toys.
