Mars Attacks “Mego” Action Figure Revealed at NYTF
My own Mars Attacks project was revealed a few weeks ago at the New York Toy Fair (see “Mars Attacks — The Dice Game”), but there were more Martians on display at the convention and I’m only now getting around to the various posts I had missed while working the show. Posts like this megomuseum.com thread where we get a look at the Mego-style Mars Attacks action figure that’s set for release later this year.
I know I’ll be grabbing one, even if it does lead to another wave of interest in 8-inch scale action figures. That’s a risk I’m willing to take for one of these Martians.

I’m actually kinda excited about this figure and love all the mars attacks love they’ve been getting lately. Can’t wait for the board game. Just disappointed Mezco didn’t release the other Mars Attack figure they had.
@Mindless-Focus – Maybe we’ll get lucky and someone will create a Kenner-style Mars Attacks action figure.
I’ll write more about the new dice game as we share more info. I’ve got a trade show in a few weeks where I expect to talk to some more press about the gameplay and release schedule.
