Matchbox Fighting Furies on Sale in 1974
We’ve already seen a few newspaper ads from the seventies that include the Fighting Furies action figure series (posted here and here), but as I look at the line a little more closely I keep finding new bits of information. For example, this Ocala Star-Banner Sears newspaper ad includes both the Captain Hook and Captain Peg-Leg action figures and that Pirate Ship carrying case. Damn, I wish I could find the toys for five times this amount these days!
