Mekton Mecha Manual Volume 1 Cover Artwork

Back in the nineties, I think we could safely say that R. Talsorian’s Mekton (find at Amazon.com*) was one of the top mecha roleplaying games of the day. I shared a Mecha Press news article about the Mekton Mecha Manual Volume 1 last month, and as I went to put the book away, I thought it best to scan and share the cover. Not the greatest robot art of the nineties — I wish the image focused on just one of the two mecha — and not even the best Mekton cover, but this Bill Eaken painting does have a fun charm to it that deserves our attention.
