October 20, 1985. An unusual ad block for sure, this Otasco advertisement from The Marshall News Messenger of Marshall, Texas, lists the Decepticon Cassettes on sale for $3.99/each, for one day only. Now, the ad states Frenzy is the toy on sale, but those original cassettes were sold in two-packs, so we can be sure that the $3.99 was a for a pack and not for a single toy.
