Reproduction “Blockade Runner” for the Kenner Die Cast Star Destroyer
I don’t know why I haven’t collected a complete set of the old Kenner Star Wars die cast ships (see bugeyedmonster.com). Fear of getting in too deep? Anyway, if I were to chase down one of the loose Star Destroyers there’s a good chance it would be missing the tiny Blockade Runner ship that snaps inside. That’s less of a problem these days, though, since Ben Mininberg (blog, Twitter) is now offering reproduction Blockade Runner ships.
Check Ben’s site for the details and order one of your own. He even gave it a “reproduction mark” so that it wouldn’t be confused with the original. Nice touch!

Holy moley–I actually NEED one of those! I bought a second-hand die cast Star Destroyer years ago and it was missing the little Blockade Runner!!!
