Starcom Vehicles Priced at $4.99/each in 1987

November 13, 1987. This Reno Gazette-Journal newspaper ad reinforces the price we’ve already seen for the smaller Starcom vehicles (post here and here), making this not a revolutionary discovery, but more of a supporting bit of advertising. If anyone wanted to track the decline of Starcom, I think the various ads we’ve uncovered would be a huge step in the direction of pinpointing the toyline’s rise and fall at retail.
