1981 Kenner Star Wars Action Figures Newspaper Advertisement

My new book of Star Wars newspaper ads closes on Kickstarter on Friday, so now is the time I should really be getting the word out and trying to push the support to 100%. Unfortunately, last weekend’s (and last week’s!) workload didn’t leave much time for personal projects, so I haven’t had a lot of time to devote to promotion. The book, if it closes successfully, will go to print on schedule, so at least I got the most important part of the project handled before work got extra busy.

The above ad block, from December 19, 1981, comes from an Osco Drug ad from the Stevens Point Journal of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, which is kinda fun since I was just in Wisconsin and got home late last night.
