Missing: Dub-K Toys and KFC Toys Voltron-Inspired Unofficial Transformers
I ordered the Dub-K Toys exclusive set of five robots back in January (posted here) and have not heard a word. The site said the toys would ship in April, but it’s only today that I’ve started scanning back through open orders to see what I’m missing. I’ve posted a question to the Dub-K Toys Facebook page and now wait for a response.
Hopefully there’s nothing wrong and these will ship out very soon. Or, at the very least, I get a refund for the set. $100 is a lot to have vanish. (And too bad these won’t make it into Transforming Expectations, but maybe the next book will get to feature these five robots.)

The Black Lion looks great, but I don’t see them listed.
Maybe KFC is having problems with the production. I took 11 months for me to receive my Overslay & Haymaker , who were supposed to ship Oct ’13. There turned out to be a QC problem with Overslay which delayed production
They had this mold repainted for TFCon this past July, so I doubt it’s a QC issue. I get some pretty bad vibes from KFC. Their quality is okay, with the endless parade of Perceptor repaints being the worst offender, and it seems like they’ve back-burnered the cassette line to focus on full size figures. I’m not so sure we’ll ever see these Voltron tapes, sadly.
Hopin this works out for ya Phil, either in product or refund.

Update from Dub-K saying they’re still waiting for KFC to ship the product. So at least now we know where the delay is happening . . .
