Hoth Ice Planet Adventure Set Newspaper Ad from 1980
This November 30, 1980, newspaper ad caught my eye as soon as I realized that it was promoting the cardboard and plastic Hoth Ice Planet Adventure Set playset from Kenner. I’ve got a serious love for those old cardboard and plastic playsets, and seeing this one from over thirty years ago makes me again wish that toymakers were manufacturing these things today.
As always, the illustration showing off the toy is fabulous and should be better archived so that we can enjoy it for many more years. I hope those Google newspaper archives remain accessible and searchable for a long time.
