Spotted Online – Review of the Unofficial Frigate for the X-Wing Game
I posted recently about the unofficial Nebulon-B Frigate that was designed for Fantasy Flight Games’ X-Wing miniatures game (Amazon.com search*) and how the ship is no longer available. Well, it turns out that way back in September of this year one of the huge ships found its way to the web: See the review at wwpd.net.
Sounds like this may have been a fairly impressive custom ship. Looking over the pics posted in the review makes me again think: Maybe FFG will release an official Nebulon-B Frigate for the game. It seems unlikely — that $100 Imperial Raider* feels like the upper end of what we’ll see for the game — but stranger things have happened. Hell, maybe FFG and Disney will agree to a Kickstarter project to bring an official Nebulon-B Frigate into the game. I’d sure as hell throw $300 or so at a beautiful and giant ship.
