Transformers Kre-O Display at Target

It’s official, Transformers Kre-O sets* exist for only one reason: To make me want every single Transformers Kreon that Hasbro shoves into a box, regardless of the price of the box.

My Transformers Kreons review a few days ago (review here) was just scratching the surface of the fun Kreons that are out there. As proof I present these photos of a display of Kreons at Target. I will not spend $60 just for three small figures . . . I hope.

  1. I wish they offered a way to get these separately. I have the Mirage set, which makes a pretty neat racecar/robot and came with a Mirage Kreon, but I prefer free-building over pre-engineered sets when it comes to Legos and Lego knock-offs.

  2. @BubbaShelby – I am gonna keep my fingers crossed in the hopes that Hasbro is seeing online comments and that they’re planning a way to sell us just the Kreons.

  3. These torment me pretty much every time I’m in Target. I have three of the smallest sets… the small Optimus Prime set doesn’t even come with a minifigure, which seems kinf of cruel.

  4. @Jason S – The lowest price you can pay and get a Kreon seems to be $10; those even cheaper sets are blocks only. But I know what you mean; every time I walk past that $60 Optimus Prime set I tell myself that I am not paying $20/figure for three Kreons.
