Spotted Online – Masters of the Universe Classics Ram Man Review at Preternia

Preternia has a Ram Man review for all of the Masters of the Universe Classics series (Amazon.com search*) fans who either missed the toy or want a second opinion.

Some fun photos, but it’s the discussion in which Jon acknowledges that the series is reaching its end that I found most interesting. Between this and Poe Ghostal’s recent reveal that he’s tiring of Masters of the Universe Classics (mentioned here) I think fatigue is setting in for some long-time collectors; the first sign that something is about to close is when fans leave and are not replaced.

If 2013 is the final year then I can think of no better cap to the line than Castle Grayskull.

  1. @drrampageo – I suppose there comes a point where Mattel has to end the line because they used all of the characters who are popular enough to attract enough fans.

  2. Eh. Why so much speculation about the end?
The line can run as long as people buy it. That should be the determining factor. But instead, we always have to have this thought running through things. There have been some slim TF years where the big Generations character was Wheeljack.
So I think that MOTU could run another four or five years with just a Flying Fists He-Man as the sole “name” character.
