Spotted Online – TimMee Toys’ Battle Mountain Playset Reviewed at 16bit.com
Priced at just over $20 at Amazon.com*, the Battle Mountain is a 15-inch tall chunk of plastic designed as a playset for the classic Toy Soldier. BUT, as this review at 16bit.com shows us, the playset works with any small action figure. Click through for Adam’s pics and thoughts on a bare bones, simple playset design which he says:
. . . looks great with the Outer Space Men and I’d say if you collect anything in the Axis of Onell Design (Glyos, OMFG, Mordles, whatever) this is probably something you should go ahead and snag for them.

This is pretty tempting… I wonder if you did some dry brushing it would bring out the details nicely…
I bet a dark wash followed by some drybrush work would make it look way less toy-like than it does now. And since it’s just rock you wouldn’t have to worry about detail work all that much.
