Justice League at Target, Warner Brothers and Target Partner to Make Super Summer Fun

A Bullseye View has the story, but if you visit your local Target you should find a ton of Justice League exclusives including toys and games. I snapped some pics of a Target store in New Jersey a few days ago . . . this is just a tiny sample of what’s being offered.

That pack of DC Hot Wheels cars is a good find for anyone who has enjoyed my reviews of the cars in the series — Batman review, Flash review, Killer Croc review — but my favorite product has to be the dice game with the custom cup. I need to go back to Target and buy that before it’s gone.

  1. I’m glad JLA is back in stores! Here’s hoping they expand their (single pack) figure line. I know you can get Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg in the big set, but it would be great to have more characters in their regular costumes.

  2. I picked up the dice game tonight, after having seen you mention it here (Phil! Making me spend money…) and I have to say, I think it’s something I’ll actually try to play some instead of just having the cool dice cup to sit on my desk. The rules are a really light cross between Yahtzee and liar’s dice and seem robust enough to entertain adults for an hour or so, especially superhero-geek inclined adults. My sole complaint is that the little rules pamphlet doesn’t quite fit in the cup when the lid is on without an additional fold. And man do I love that dice cup. I could see this dice game format getting rebranded for different properties.

  3. @Jay – In the toy aisle there’s also a Batman cycle, a Superman cycle (those are toys that include action figures), and a bunch of other stuff. Target and DC went a bit crazy with the number of neat exclusives.

  4. @Jason S – Thanks for the short review/report on the game! I didn’t buy one when I saw it — the suitcase was a bit overloaded already — but I will be buying one this weekend when I get to Target.

  5. @Phil, on the cycles–picked up the Batman one for my nephew a while back! I’m also hoping they’ll do some more villians for this series.
