BattleTech: “There’s No Game Like It!”

Fasa’s BattleTech gameworld of the eighties (find at Amazon.com*) smashed onto the scene, growing in popularity and size within just a few years of the game’s launch. This 1987 Dragon advertsement for the BattleTech game is one I remember well from my childhood; I would have first seen this ad the summer of 1987, just after I first played BattleTech, and that image of an Atlas mech is one I’ll never forget.
