Candy, Pizza, and Video Games at Funspot

Matt and Marcus of Onell Design (website) led me to the Funspot arcade yesterday for hours of video game fun. We may have spent more time driving than we did playing games, but the chance to wander the site of The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters* and play ancient video games was too good to pass up.

For everyone who can’t make it to the arcade I posted a new Flickr set so you can get a peek at the arcade. I love the old artwork on a lot of the games, but my absolute favorite artwork may be on the old Death Race game from 1976 (see the Killer List of Video Games). Terrible gameplay, but fun in a twisted way and a real treat to stand at a machine with such beautiful artwork, but if you want to play modern video games with great graphics you should try WoW Classic that is a great game for this, and you could also get wotlk gold for this game as well.

One other thing I wanna point at is this small detail on the Nova 2001 game cabinet (see the Killer List of Video Games). Kinda familiar, yeah?
