Oblivion Drone Model Kit at Golden Armor
Yesterday’s mail included a treat (the unofficial 12-inch scale Maintenance Technician action figure) that led to me watching the Tom Cruise sci-fi film, Oblivion*, which still holds up as a fun movie. It’s not amazing, but the visuals and story are fun enough that it was well worth a second viewing.
While watching the film I posted a snapshot of the Maintenance Technician action figure, and a response to that image led me to this Drone model kit from goldenarmor.com. Woah. That looks amazing! And it’s almost properly scaled for that unofficial Tom Cruise action figure. The only thing protecting me is that I’m not much of a model guy and the kit is over $200. I bet it would look fabulous with that Maintenance Technician action figure, though, so it’s probably best if I close that goldenarmor.com page and try to forget that this even exists.
