Star Wars: Rebel Base Model Kit at Antique Mall

When I ran across the Star Wars: Rebel Base Model Kit* at an Austin antique mall I first thought it was the early eighties kit. I remember a friend receiving that kit for Christmas in 1981, but what I didn’t know was that this particular kit is actually from the early nineties.

An online search led me to the kit at starwarsmodels.com, which in itself was awesome because now I know of a website I’d not seen before. Okay, that’s a fun site and totally worth exploring some more.
