Tomy’s Fashion Plates or Mighty Men and Monster Maker, Your Choice $6.99
I posted two bits of fun for Tomy’s Mighty Men and Monster Maker this past weekend (1980 newspaper ad, TV commercial), and now we get to return to the Tomy art toy in this 1979 newspaper (jump to p. 78). What is best is that the similar set for girls, the Tomy Fashion Plates (find at Amazon.com*) also makes an appearance . . . and instantly reminds me how unfair it is to the kids of today that the Mighty Men and Monster Maker art kit isn’t available in stores.
