“Convertible plastic road-bots” in 1984

October 7, 1984. Marchon’s Roadbots series of cheap transforming robot toys remains one of my favorite lines of 1984 and I’m still sad that I missed out on the 1986 Marchon catalog showing a fourth robot design. One day, I’ll find that catalog!

For now, this Zayre ad from the Pittsburgh Press will have to keep me happy.
